Volunteers
are an important part of the effective outreach of Medical Missions.
Volunteers can participate in mission trips overseas (usually
1 week long) where they can build projects, provide medical
care and participate in educational and religious programs.
Also volunteers
can:
1.
Make promotional mission presentations to churches, civic
clubs and businesses in the USA;
2. Lead mission groups to overseas mission sites;
3. Coordinate on-site construction projects and assist as
translators;
4. Assist with planning and organizing startup programs that
will be used in the projects built overseas.
Medical Missions
does not fund U.S. missionaries overseas but rather works to
empower the local people to run specific programs, services
and ministries.
