VOLUNTEERS
Jonathan and Leonie Creech are Medical Missions' Costa Rica Project Directors. They facilitate USA missions groups in Costa Rica and coordinate missionary, construction, and educational projects. Jonathan and Leonie also run a year-round English-language school for Costa Ricans in Medical Missions' Haucas Building in Guanacate.

(06, 07) D. Marshall White, Jr. ( Marshall ) is Citadel Graduate from Columbia , South Carolina . Marshall currently works for the Presbyterian Student Center at the University of South Carolina .
(07) Johnny Cordry is from Charleston , South Carolina . Johnny graduated from the Citadel and works for an insurance company in Charleston .
(07) Mindy Morgan is from Laurinburg , North Carolina . She graduated from Presbyterian College and is now a graduate student of photography at USC in Columbia , SC.
(06) Jeff Rollison is from West Columbia , South Carolina . He graduated from Wofford College in 2007.
Todd and Jessica Garrett served as Medical Missions Missionaries in the Amazon 2005-2006. They directed all aspects of US-Peruvian construction projects including the construction of schools for handicapped children, medical clinics, and churches. Todd and Jessica currently live in Charleston , South Carolina where Jessica works Drayton Hall and Todd does commercial real estate while remotely acting as Director of Medical Missions of Peru. Todd continues to run MicroCapital, Inc, a microcredit finance company that makes small loans to business women who earn less than $2 per day.
Margarita Diaz is Directora del Jardin (Director of the Jardin Campus), and the on-site Coordinator of Amazon Ministries. Margarita is the Head Nurse at the Iquitos Hospital and has been on the Board of Medical Missions of Iquitos for ten years. She has assisted Medical Missions' missionary groups for free for years, coordinating clinics, hospital tours, and providing general assistance whenever needed. Margarita is is doing a great job maintaining Medical Missions' El Jardin Campus and properties in Iquitos ; coordinating SCOTA programs and ministry and construction projects throughout the Amazon.

(06, 07) Stephen Bentley graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton , South Carolina in December 2006 and now lives in Atlanta , Georgia . In addition to his work with Medical Missions in the Peruvian Amazon, Stephen has also done mission work in Nicaragua .
(03, 04) Parker Melvin is from Chapin , South Carolina . A graduate of Chapel Hill University , Parker now lives in Charlotte , NC where he works for Trammell Crow in commercial real estate.
(03, 04) Sarah Beth Harkless Mullet is from Huntington, West Virginia . Sarah Beth is currently in Law School at the University of South Carolina .

Short-term missionaries are need in both Peru and Costa Rica . We can provide facilities in both locations.
ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteers
are an important part of the effective outreach of Medical Missions.
Volunteers can participate in mission trips overseas (usually
1 week long) where they can build projects, provide medical care
and participate in educational and religious programs.
Also volunteers
can:
1. Make
promotional mission presentations to churches, civic clubs and
businesses in the USA;
2. Lead mission groups to overseas mission sites;
3. Coordinate on-site construction projects and assist as translators;
4. Assist with planning and organizing startup programs that
will be used in the projects built overseas.
Medical Missions
does not fund U.S. missionaries overseas but rather works to empower
the local people to run specific programs, services and
ministries.
